We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Optometrist to provide high-quality eye care services across multiple branch locations on a flexible basis. This role is ideal for experienced optometrists seeking varied work while delivering excellent patient care in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye conditions
  • Prescribe and fit spectacles and contact lenses tailored to individual patient needs
  • Provide expert advice on eye health, vision correction, and preventative care
  • Refer patients to specialist services when necessary and maintain accurate patient records
  • Ensure compliance with professional guidelines and company policies
  • Work collaboratively with branch teams to maintain smooth clinic operations
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in optometry and optical technology

Candidate Requirements

  • Fully registered Optometrist with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Experience providing a wide range of optometric services
  • Passionate about delivering excellent patient care
  • Flexible and able to work independently across multiple locations
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing development
