The Role
The Patient Advisor plays a key role in ensuring patients feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for while receiving a 5-star service. The ideal candidate will enjoy meeting new people and will demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with both patients and clinical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong, professional relationships with patients
- Performing diagnostic eye scans (full training provided)
- Confidently relaying patient information to optometrists to ensure a smooth patient journey
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Discussing and arranging affordable finance options tailored to individual patients
- Scheduling patient consultations and surgical procedures
- Providing occasional cover at the Nottingham clinic (travel costs covered by the employer)
About You:
- Driven, passionate, and motivated to succeed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Previous experience working towards sales targets and personal KPIs
- Commercially aware while consistently delivering world-class customer service
