Job Title: Telemedicine Optometrist
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Salary: £55,000 DoE
Hours: 40 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday)

The Medical People are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of ophthalmology services delivering exceptional patient care, outstanding clinical outcomes, and continuous investment in people and technology.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a telemedicine optometrist to provide care to patients from the Glasgow City Centre Flagship Clinic. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, playing a key role in delivering a wide range of clinical eye care services.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicating with and treating patients via telemedicine
• Reviewing incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs, and other primary care routes, and allocating them to the appropriate clinic
• Providing clinical support to the hub administrative team where required
• Working with operations and clinical leads to identify areas for improvement in service delivery
