Job Title: Optometrist – Part Time

About the Role
We are seeking qualified, GOC-registered optometrists who are committed to putting the customer at the center of everything they do. At Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, you will deliver excellent clinical care while building strong relationships with patients and branch teams. This role is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced optometrists who want to contribute to their community and drive their branch forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations in 30-minute test slots to ensure thorough patient care
  • Diagnose and manage a range of eye health conditions using clinical judgement
  • Provide expert advice on spectacles and contact lenses tailored to individual patient needs
  • Build and maintain strong patient relationships to ensure a positive experience at every visit
  • Collaborate with branch teams to support business growth and service excellence
  • Participate in local enhanced service schemes and pre-registration supervision where applicable
  • Keep up-to-date with optical products and industry developments through ongoing CPD training

Person Specification

  • GOC-registered Optometrist
  • Passionate about providing excellent patient care
  • Confident in clinical skills and enjoys working in a friendly, supportive team environment
  • Motivated to build lasting relationships with patients and colleagues
  • Suitable for both newly qualified and experienced candidates
