Job Title: Optometrist – Part Time

About the Role
We are seeking qualified, GOC-registered Optometrists who are passionate about putting the patient at the centre of their care. In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical care while building strong relationships with patients and branch teams. This opportunity is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who want to make a positive impact in their community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, allowing 30 minutes per patient for thorough care
  • Diagnose and manage a range of eye health conditions using clinical judgement
  • Provide expert advice on spectacle and contact lens options tailored to individual needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, ensuring a positive experience
  • Collaborate with branch teams to support business growth and excellent service delivery
  • Participate in local enhanced service schemes and pre-registration supervision, where applicable
  • Keep knowledge up-to-date with optical products and industry developments through CPD

Person Specification

  • GOC-registered Optometrist
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
  • Confident in clinical skills and enjoy working as part of a supportive team
  • Motivated to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues
  • Open to both newly qualified and experienced candidates
