Hours: Full-time & part-time available (days, nights, weekends on a rota)

Overview
Our client is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join a warm and supportive 18-bedded mental health service in Brighton.

The unit comprises:

  • 9-bed Acute ward
  • 9-bed Specialist Complex Mental Health & ASD Rehabilitation ward

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care and supporting patients in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, person-centred nursing care
  • Support patients with mental health recovery, wellbeing goals, and daily living needs
  • Safely administer, manage, and monitor medications
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, carers, and external professionals
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive team culture
  • Adhere to safeguarding, clinical governance, and best-practice standards

Skills & Experience

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
  • High level of motivation and ability to adapt to changing clinical needs
  • Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, evidence-based care

Additional Information

  • Participation in a rota covering days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Enhanced DBS check required (role is classed as regulated activity)
