Overview
Our client is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join a warm and supportive 18-bedded mental health service in Brighton.
The unit comprises:
- 9-bed Acute ward
- 9-bed Specialist Complex Mental Health & ASD Rehabilitation ward
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care and supporting patients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centred nursing care
- Support patients with mental health recovery, wellbeing goals, and daily living needs
- Safely administer, manage, and monitor medications
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, carers, and external professionals
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive team culture
- Adhere to safeguarding, clinical governance, and best-practice standards
Skills & Experience
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
- High level of motivation and ability to adapt to changing clinical needs
- Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, evidence-based care
Additional Information
- Participation in a rota covering days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
- Enhanced DBS check required (role is classed as regulated activity)
