Job Title: Theatre Practitioner (RGN)
Location: Dublin
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Theatre Practitioner (RGN) to join a busy ophthalmic surgery team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced practitioners and those early in their career who are looking to make their mark in the ophthalmic field.

Operating in a state-of-the-art clinic, the surgery team plays a crucial role in patient outcomes. You will work alongside expert ophthalmologists as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, participating in advanced procedures and supporting world-class patient care. Flexibility to travel to other clinics is required, with travel costs covered.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub in Laser Vision Correction procedures
• Scrub in Intraocular Lens (Cataract) surgeries
• Assist with anaesthesia
• Conduct pre-operative assessments
• Perform pre-screening diagnostic duties
• Support patient discharge, providing aftercare advice and medications
• Medicines management

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification
• Experience in surgical or theatre settings preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
